Alumni meet

Alumni meet Alumni meet was conducted on15-08-2019  They guided their juniors by the experience of them and shared the job opportunities in their working concern. Also enjoyed with their junior and senior friends by Cultural events conducted by the current students. To entertain them and few competitions were conducted ad the winners were appreciated with small gifts by the Head of the Department. Alumni fond was also collected from them.

Community Service

COMMUNITY SERVICE IN SILLANATHAM VILLAGE (09.08.2019)              The Department of Zoology in association with DCW Ltd Sahupuram adopted Sillanatham Village, near Ottapidaram to do   Community Service. As per MoE with DCW Ltd Sahupuram, Rs. 4000/- were received in addition to our college equal share to carry the program effectively. The main objective of the program is to completely eradicate and uprooted the shrub vegetation  Prosopis juliflora,  which is present enormously on the inlets and outlets of a pond about 5 kilometres distance in Sillanatham Village to store water.

Navigation to Challenge

Mrs.J.Gnana Deepam Hema, Business Analyst, Canada was invited to give a guest lecture on the topic “Navigation to Challenges” on 05-08-2019.     On 03-09-2019, it was resolved by the members that to conduct Association by Alumnae of the Department. The former student Mrs.J.Gnana Deepam Hema, Business Analyst, Canada was invited to give a guest lecture on the topic “Navigation to Challenges” on 04-08-2019 in New Seminar Hall. The main objective of the program was to give knowledge about how to overcome the challenges to achieve the target. Along with the staff members, 127 beneficiaries from our department were participated. From the chief guest address, the students gained knowledge about how to overcome the challenges to achieve their target.

Personal Hygiene

“Personal Hygiene” on 25-07-2019   by   Dr. A. Bala Subha, M.B.B.S, M.D (Radiodiagnosis), Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai. The main objective of the program is to insist on personal hygiene among the students. The beneficiaries are 127 students from the Zoology Dept and Staff members of concern and other departments participated. The main outcome of the program is, the students got knowledge about the maintenance of body health, good physique and personal hygiene.
